About this event
We’ve lined up insightful guest speakers and collaborative sessions to develop innovative training and education initiatives within our cluster. Enjoy delicious food, drinks, and music, while connecting with this warm community network. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn, share, and grow together!
Guest speakers:
Lisa Stein [University of Alberta]: Her research explores how bacteria and archaea process nitrogen and methane by integrating genomics, molecular biology, and ecology. Her work aims to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, reduce nitrogen oxide pollution, and develop sustainable bioproducts.
Bill Burton [BGC Engineering]: His 30 years of experience have applied geotechnical engineering to mine waste storage at all stages of mining projects, in biomes ranging from arid deserts to the Arctic to tropical rainforests. His focus is combining the mechanics of soil, rock, and water with disruptive technologies for critical applied earth science challenges.
Surprise guest!
Please Register to the event before Feb 27th.
Looking forward to seen you all!
